Working in Partnership with Parents
The Staff working at Little Teddies Nursery recognise that parents and carers are the first educators of their children. We also recognise that you will have valuable knowledge to share with us regarding your child and his/her development needs and interests. Close working between parents and our staff is vital for the identification of children’s learning needs. Parents and families are central to a child’s wellbeing and our team will support this important relationship.
Parents are always welcome into nursery and we welcome parental involvement with activities at the nursery.
We endeavour to keep parents informed about their child's development and progress through regular parent's evenings and will always contact parents if we are particularly worried about one of the children's wellbeing.
Nursery notice boards and letters will keep you up to date with information about planned nursery activities.
The nursery operates an ‘open-door’ policy with regard to discussing any concerns with parents and we are committed to working together to resolve any problems or worries about a child or the care that they receive.
